Zara Henderson is a makeup artist with 14 years of experience across beauty, fashion, commercial, editorial and private clients.

Her approach to beauty is considered, modern and grounded in simplicity. Zara’s work is elevated, bright and distinctly creamy — beautiful skin, thoughtful coverage and a luxurious finish that feels effortless, even when there’s serious technique behind it.

For Zara, great makeup is as much about knowing when to stop as knowing what to add. She works with restraint and intuition, creating makeup that enhances rather than overwhelms. Good makeup should never make you feel less like yourself. The goal is simple: you should look in the mirror and think, fuck, I look good.

Over more than a decade in the industry, Zara’s work has taken her across campaigns, e-commerce, runway and editorial, including men’s grooming, alongside a long-standing private clientele. Her experience includes ongoing work with 2XU, F1, Hard Yakka, Forever New, Gem and campaigns for David Jones.

At the centre of it all is a fairly simple philosophy: the best makeup is feeling good. Zara just happens to be very good at both.

Based in Melbourne, Zara is available for commercial and bridal bookings nationally and internationally.
